The Goldfin Invitational is a competition that is running prelims and finals. There will be a session each morning and depending on the finishing position, the swimmer may qualify for a finals swim in the evening. See more information below.
In the case that there are less than 24 athletes in an event & age group, there will be an A final. If there are 24 or more athletes, there will be a B final. The easiest way to check this is by checking Meet Mobile once all results are displaying. There will also be print outs on the glass outside the pool which will display a Q next to an athlete’s name if they qualify. If there is a discrepancy between Meet Mobile and the printouts, please refer to the printouts. If your athlete qualifies for finals and cannot swim, you must notify Ryan or Chris before the end of the session so your athlete can be scratched.
Age groupings are as follows:
- 12 & Under Females
- 13-14 Females
- 15 & Over Females
- 13 & Under Males
- 14-15 Males
- 16 & Over Males
