Meet Wrap Up: Swim Sask Race Series #2 (Nov 15)

Hello TEAM,

This past Saturday (Nov 15th) Lasers sent a record number of athletes, (52!!!) to the second edition of the Swim Saskatchewan Race Series. It was a solid day for our TEAM, filled with many great races, lots of lessons learned, a bunch of qualifying swims achieved, many podium placements and of course lots of FUN! One of our very own LASER athletes even won the swim-bingo - shout out to Eva from Red1!!! Overall the coaches were very pleased with the swimming and racing this weekend - CONGRATS everyone. You can feel the excitement and focus growing on our TEAM, in regard to qualifying for bigger/faster meets, such as Junior Provincials and Man/Sask. Lots of great questions surrounding these higher level meets, so keep an eye out for a coaches update, coming soon, specifically on 'time standards' and 'qualifying for championship meets'.

Another outstanding showing in the pool from our development groups. So much positive and productive work is happening in the White and Red groups - it's a very exciting time to be part of this club as we grow and build. As we continue to push forward through the season remember to stay focused, trust the process, show up prepared, and "Do The Work!"
