Meet Wrap Up: Norm Banfield (Oct 3-5)

Hello TEAM,

October 3rd-5th the LASERS headed south to Regina, where our competitive squads got to test the first month of our training. Coach's goals were to race FAST and cheer LOUD - and the LASERS excelled at both! So many great swims to start off our season and so much positive TEAM building and bonding - we have a great group of kids. As with all meets there were a few important learning moments, but overall very few DQs, (no missed races), many strategies tested/analyzed/debriefed and SOOOO many best times posted, resulting in many podium placements and RIBBONS!!! Way to go LASERS!

Outstanding back to back swim meets for this TEAM, showcasing our young strong eager athletes in the development program, and the great performance of our older competitive athletes. This season is gearing up to be a banner year and I encourage everyone to stay updated, get involved, and if able, join us and be part of the process (volunteer or join MASTERS!!). It's going to be a FAST and FUN year... LETS GO LASERS!!!
