Meet Wrap Up: Michelle Moore Invitational (May 9-11)

Hello TEAM

May 9-11th the Lasers swim TEAM headed south to Regina to race at the Lawson Aquatic Centre at the Michelle Moore Invitational. Our club ran a 'TEAM Travel' where athletes, coaches and chaperons rode the bus together, stayed at the hotel and roomed together ate our meals together and really spent almost every moment in and out of the pool together bonding and making memories. Some athletes chose not to join the TEAM travel, which was perfectly fine, however they did miss out on some great TEAM fun (that may have been the nicest bus I've ever been on - and the coolest bus driver ever)! The meet was targeted towards our younger competitive development athletes, as well as a last shot for athletes to hit their Man/Sask provincial cuts. BIG CONGRATS to Addy Hanson, Ben Rempel, Sadie Henderson and Felix Morris for all making AA Man/Sask qual times for their age group. LASERS will be racing in Winnipeg at Man/Sask this July - exciting! We had so many greats swims this weekend, lots of best times and many finals, which made for a truly exciting weekend of racing. Way to go TEAM!!!
