Meet Wrap Up: Man/Sask Short Course Champs (Mar 6-9)

Hello TEAM,

Provincial Championships took place in Regina at the Lawson Aquatic Center, March 6th-9th, and the LASER athletes once again stepped up and impressed us all with their outstanding performances. If you don't know, Man/Sask (Short Course) Provincial Championships brings together the fastest age group athletes from Manitoba and Saskatchewan in a 4 day competition with heats and finals. Lots of racing and lots of opportunity to swim their best and be pushed in a competitive environment to reach their full potential. We saw many great performances this weekend including many best times, many finals, a few medals and many more qualifying swims. Well done LASERS!

Looking ahead we now are 5 weeks out from our inaugural long course home meet; the 'Bridge City Spring Classic'. We plan to jump back into a short training cycle and look to perform out best long course swims in April - which for many will be their priority meet as well as one of the few selection meets for the Canada Games TEAM. Let's continue to focus on the plan and your goals, trust the process and your TEAM, and above all, stay hungry... for the gains!
