Meet Wrap Up: GoldFins ‘Spooktacular’ Invitational (Oct 24-26)

Hello TEAM,

This past weekend (Oct 24-26th) a good number of our LASER athletes, who had qualifying times, competed against 11 different swim clubs, at the GoldFins 49th annual Spooktacular Invitational. It was a weekend full of FAST racing, many finals, lots of personal bests and a bunch of BIG Qualifying swims!

Another great weekend of racing from our group of hard working and talented swimmers. Next on our racing calender is; CSS Development Race Series, in Saskatoon (Nov 15th), RODS Invitational, in Regina (Nov 28-30th), and our priority meet for our top qualifiers at JP Fiset, in Edmonton (Dec 11-14th). Please refer to our website under Events for more info on the meets, dates, times, events and whether or not there is a qualifying or de-qualifying standard. With lots of racing to go before the end of the calender year, do your best to stay healthy (by getting sleep and eating well), show up and do your best work (attendance and attitude in the pool) and train everyday with purpose (revisit and review, or set new goals). LETS GO LASERS!!!
