Meet Wrap Up: Edmonton Open (Jan 31-Feb 2)

Hello TEAM,

Edmonton was a FUN and FAST meet. We may of had a small group of only 6 athletes, however we showed up BIG, with a goal of gaining valuable long course racing experience and closing the gap between our best times and Trials qualifying times #CloseTheGap We had athletes racing at finals, posting some best times and earning a few qualifying swims - overall the plan of moving us closer to those Canada Games on-track times and Trials cuts was achieved.

Edmonton by the Numbers:

Side Note: It is early into long course racing season, however after this weekend we have a few of our LASER athletes represented in the top 25 of Canada in their age group. The goal is to stay on this list or move up!

Max Z - 4th in 1500FR, 8th in 200IM, 9th in 200FL, 9th in 200BK, 9th in 100BK, 10th in 400IM

Austyn S - 22nd in 50FL

Hailey W - 15th in 50BK, 15th in 200BK
